The Sepura STP8X’s IP67 rating means it has unrivaled levels of ruggedness and robustness. This hand-portable radio is able to withstand submersion in up to 1 metre of water for 30 minutes and it is also completely dustproof.

The user has been carefully considered during the design process, resulting in a reduced-keypad variant for users who frequently need to use the radio with heavily-gloved hands but still need easy, safe and direct access to specific functions. For standard use, the full keypad option is available.

The Sepura STP8X’s suitability for the harshest and most challenging of environments is considerably enhanced by the fact that it meets the new V6 of the IECEx/ATEX standards (the most rigorous testing regime to date for intrinsically-safe radios).
