Radio Logon requests the input of user ID details at power-on and automatically sends these details to Control using SDS messages.
Radio Logon enables enforced logon at start-up, providing organisations with real-time, automatically generated user and radio association information.
Key Benefits
The Radio Logon application improves asset management and accountability by providing Control with the knowledge of which users are using which radios during each shift.
In addition to asset management, Radio Logon enables more efficient use and management of pool radio fleets by removing the manual process of automatically assigning each radio to each user for every shift, helping organisations save costs on radio equipment.
The App can also improve operational efficiency by ensuring that Control always knows which user is creating an emergency call and granting permissions (for example, specific talkgroups) or access to organisational data according to logon credentials.
